i think is better the iliada.... you know ola here in spain we're very serious with latin.. and greek.. and you in poland what kind of ancient literature are you comparsoried to read?

well, we I don't remember clearly but we ere reading some greek mythology at primary school, I'm not sure which myths because I've read an anthology of greek and roman ones. a few months ago we were talking about Iliada and I know that next year I will be compulsoried to read 'Antigone' by Sophocles. when you're going to High School you can chose if you want to learn greek and latin.

its similar for us.. but i meant if you have myths of your nordic culture not mediterranean latin culture but your own ancience culture you know?

noooo. or if there are some, I don't know them but I don't think so. at history, we're learning about slavonic people who lived before Christ, they had some beliefs and gods but it wasn't so well-developed as in western Europe, no regular myths or things like that. when ancient Greece was in its golden age I think in Poland then were only barbarians who couldn't write or read.

Hm... I don't think so... I think that's what they've made you believe... I mean, they say that Greece or Rome was the best, the most evolutionated culture and those things... But other cultures were as interesting (at least for me) than Rome&Greece.. Maybe they couldn't read or write but they had also a lot of very curious customs and rituals.
Anyway, I think I'll for some information about those cultures xD

so. I've just read and watched 'Twilight'. it's really popular in the US, becoming popular in Poland, and how about Spain? I think it's quite stupid, romantic story for not very intelligent teens but the most horrible thing is that I like it so so much! I'm afraid of myslef. maybe it's because of that the main character, Edward is soo cool, mysterious and he loves his girlfrend so much.? anyway, I feel so childlish now with falling in love with man from te book. what's happening to me! I'm becomin insane I think. ;p
